High churn despite strong new-logo growth often stems from misaligned sales incentives and poor territory/ICP design, not just CS failures. A comp plan paying equally for all logos—including poor-fit customers—actively works against retention; fix upstream by tying variable comp to account quality and defining clear ICPs and territories.
