The second principle of a Universal Moral Core holds that anyone—individuals, organizations, or AI systems—wielding power to influence others' futures bears responsibility to consider the consequences of their choices. Power is situational and derived from technology and knowledge; responsibility requires diligent judgment applied to impacts, not blind rule-following.
